Hi and welcome to GetRidofBellyFatNow.com. I’m Susan. And if you’re anything like me, you’ve struggled to lose weight and keep it off for good. Maybe you’re like me and have tried countless diets and exercise programs only to end up frustrated, tired and hopeless. It really can become a vicious cycle, don’t you think? And worst of all, we live in a world surrounded by food all the time! There’s so much temptation taking you away from your healthy goals.
So that’s really why I created this site. I love to help people and I know from my own experience that with so much information out there, it can be hard to sift through it. So the purpose of this site is to try and break it all down into easy to understand bites (pardon the pun) so that you can start losing belly fat now and look and feel great again!
It Started Early On.
My journey with weight loss goes back to a very early age. I can remember hating the changes my body was making as I transcended from child to teen. Not understanding that the extra pudge I had around my stomach was actually a part of growing, I began to believe I was fat. I started comparing myself to other girls and never felt good enough. And it only got worse when I heard comments pointing out my squishy waist. I was constantly hearing about the latest diet from everyone around me. So, in an effort to slim down my waist, I started exercising like crazy too. I can even remember keeping a hidden food journal as a teen, tracking and counting my calories. It became an unhealthy obsession, setting myself up for a perpetual cycle with dieting. As an adult, I’ve gained and lost pounds so many times I can’t even remember. But after becoming a mother, I realized I had to change my thoughts and habits around food if I wanted to teach my kids how to live a healthy lifestyle.
So two years ago, I decided it was time to make a change for good. I lost 34 pounds and have managed to finally keep it off for good. That’s why I want to help you reach your goals too.
My Lifestyle Philosophy Today.
I now believe that health is the most important asset you can own. It’s all in the lifestyle you live and it shouldn’t be defined by a number on the scale. How you feel overall is what’s most important. You should never strive to look like a celebrity picture because that’s not real anyway. The goal is to look in the mirror and like what you see. And hopefully in the process you will slim your belly down to what’s comfortable for you as well.
When you develop a healthy lifestyle, your mind tends to follow in the same footsteps. Every positive change adds up to big changes long term. So let’s get on with it and find out how to get rid of your belly fat starting today.
